Biografi

Saya memulai karier sebagai dokter hewan di perusahaan Feedlot di Timika, Papua, yang memasok daging sapi untuk perusahaan tambang. Setelah menyelesaikan kontrak dua tahun, saya bergabung dengan Dinas Peternakan Kabupaten Mimika sebagai PNS dan menjabat sebagai Kepala Seksi Kesehatan Masyarakat Veteriner (2011–2012). Pada 2012–2016, saya menempuh studi S3 di The University of Adelaide, Australia, melalui beasiswa ACIAR. Sejak 2018, saya menjadi dosen di Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan, Universitas Brawijaya (FKH UB), mengajar Kesehatan Masyarakat Veteriner, Epidemiologi Veteriner, Legislasi Veteriner, dan Kesejahteraan Hewan. Fokus riset saya meliputi ekologi penyakit hewan, epidemiologi veteriner, pengembangan dan validasi diagnostik, serta pengendalian penyakit dalam populasi hewan. Penelitian saya telah dipublikasikan di berbagai jurnal, termasuk studi tentang peternakan babi di Papua, epidemiologi BVD di Asia Tenggara, serta pengembangan diagnostik mastitis dan pemalsuan daging babi. Saat ini, saya meneliti ekologi dan pengendalian fasciolosis pada sapi, serta penyakit hewan yang ditularkan oleh serangga pengisap darah. Saya menjabat sebagai Co-editor-in-Chief di Veterinary Biomedical and Clinical Journal (DOAJ) dan anggota editorial Advances in Animal and Veterinary Science (Scopus Q3). Saya juga aktif menulis buku, termasuk Pengantar Virologi Veteriner (2019), Kesehatan Masyarakat Veteriner (2020), Panduan Praktis Pemeriksaan Hewan Kurban (2021), serta menerjemahkan Pengantar Epidemiologi Veteriner (2022).
