FVM UB is committed to implementing an Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) and an external quality assurance system (EQAS) to achieve its vision and mission through adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement. The policies concerning quality standards at UB are outlined in the Rector’s Regulation of Universitas Brawijaya Number 76 of 2022 (Appendix 5.1.1), known as the Risk-Based Quality Standards, which align with national policies on Higher Education Quality Assurance. The policies for IQAS are specified in the SPMI document in the Chancellor’s Regulation No. 77 of 2022 (Appendix 5.1.2), the SPMI Manual (Rector’s Regulation No. 78 of 2022) (Appendix 5.1.3), which serves as a guide for implementing quality assurance at the faculty level.
QAG and QAU Functions at FKH UB
The Quality Assurance Group (QAG)
has the following functions:
- Translating educational quality standards into academic quality documents at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM).
- Monitoring the implementation of academic quality assurance at FVM.
- Evaluating and reporting the achievement of the FVM Strategic Plan every semester through the faculty management review report.
- Evaluating the academic quality assurance system at FVM.
- Submitting periodic reports on the implementation of academic quality assurance to the Dean.
The Quality Assurance Unit (QAU)
has the following functions:
- Translating educational quality standards into academic quality documents at the department level.
- Monitoring the implementation of academic quality assurance at the department level.
- Evaluating the academic quality assurance system at the department level.
- Evaluating and reporting the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Additional Performance Indicators for the study program based on LAM-PTKes at the end of each semester through the study program management review report.
- Submitting periodic reports on the implementation of academic quality assurance at the department level to the Head of Department.
