Department of Veterinary Medicine, FKH UB

Based on UB Rector Regulation No. 28 of 2022 on the Organization and Governance of FKH UB, the Department of Veterinary Medicine is the sole department at FKH, responsible for organizing and managing academic and professional education in veterinary medicine.

The organizational structure of the Department of Veterinary Medicine consists of:

  • Head of the Department
  • Quality Assurance Unit (UJM)
  • Study Programs (Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Professional Veterinary Education)
  • Compartments

Functions of the Department of Veterinary Medicine

The Department of Veterinary Medicine at FKH UB carries out the following functions:

  1. Planning, implementing, and managing faculty development and training.
  2. Conducting performance evaluations and proposing faculty promotions.
  3. Planning student admission capacity and quality standards.
  4. Planning the necessary facilities to support the learning process.
  5. Budgeting for academic activities.
  6. Managing accreditation-related data.
  7. Formulating and evaluating graduate competencies and quality.
  8. Developing and ensuring the quality assurance of study programs, including curriculum evaluation and development.
  9. Planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the university’s three pillars of higher education (tridarma).
  10. Developing study programs.
  11. Establishing collaborations and networking.
  12. Preparing and submitting the department’s annual report to the dean.
