FKH UB also contributes to the implementation of animal and sacrificial meat inspections to ensure that sacrificial animals and meat are safe, healthy, intact, halal and Thoyib on Eid al-Adha 1445 H.
FKH UB collaborates with various related agencies such as the relevant agencies and has provided training to all officers before being deployed to the field on June 8 2024.
This activity is a momentum and opportunity for undergraduate and PPDH students to hone their skills and experience outside of campus regarding ante-mortem and post-mortem examinations as well as providing education on how to cut, handle and process ASUH sacrificial meat so that it can provide benefits to the wider community. A total of 983 undergraduate and PPDH students and 32 lecturers were deployed at slaughter points, sacrificial animal sales places, housing complexes and mosques and prayer rooms.
This activity is also a form of commitment and a real contribution of FKH UB in securing Halal Qurbani and Thayib free of PMK, LSD and PPR on Eid al-Adha 1445 H in the East Java region, especially Malang City, Malang Regency, Batu City, Lamongan Regency and Mojokerto Regency on June 17-19, 2024.
According to information from the head of the activity organizer, namely, Drh Ajeng Erika PH, M.Sc. “Annual routine activities carried out by FKH UB and collaboration with various government agencies to ensure the health of sacrificial animals and meat distributed to the community is Safe, Healthy, Whole and Halal (ASUH)”
