PSIK has the following functions:

  1. implementation of publications and public relations;
  2. data collection and information systems;
  3. management of FKH information and communication technology infrastructure;
  4. And complaint handling

A. The duties of the PSIK Unit include: 

  1. plan and design FKH publications;
  2. manage the official FKH website in Indonesian and English;
  3. updating data and information about FKH activities;
  4. providing assistance with online publications for lecturers and staff; And
  5. coordinate with the Information Management Officer dan Dokumentasi UB.

B. Data collection and information system functions, including:

  1. assist and provide support for other units within FKH that require information technology assistance;
  2. managing FKH digital archives;
  3. together with UPT Information Systems and Technology, provide socialization of UB’s information and communication                                              technology services;
  4. coordinate with other units internally at FKH to prepare data reporting at the UB level; And
  5. together with UPT Information Systems and Technology, provide periodic information technology training to UB’s                                                               human resources, including lecturers, education staff and students.

C. Infrastructure functions, including:

  1. manage FKH’s information and communication technology infrastructure by following UB’s information and communication                                 technology infrastructure management standards and quality policies;
  2. guarantee the availability of access to information technology services for UB academics;
  3. coordinate development and implementation activities of information technology services;
  4. coordinate the implementation of infrastructure maintenance and technical support with the Information Systems and                                         Technology UPT;
  5. prepare documentation for FKH information technology infrastructure and services;
  6. carry out supervision and evaluation of the implementation of information technology; And
  7. prepare and submit periodic reports on the development and application of information technology to the Information                                                Systems and Technology UPT.

D. Complaint handling function, including:

  1. provide a special email for complaints using UB’s official email;
  2. check the special complaint email at any time and submit the complaint to the superior for follow-up;
  3. send a response or complaint improvement plan to the Information and Documentation Management Officer;
  4. include the cause/root of the problem, solution plan, and resolution time for each response or complaint improvement plan; And
  5. Documenting complaints.
