Community Service Program for Vet Student (KKN) is a program that is usually run by universities in Indonesia as part of their curriculum. This program requires students to apply the knowledge they gain on campus in society, especially in areas that need help or guidance. In the even semester 2023/2024, FKH UB is holding a KKN program Roadshow held at several top schools. One of them is SMA Negeri 1 Magelang City.
The meeting was held from 29 April 2024 to 31 May 2024 offline with material, promotion of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Brawijaya University (FKH UB), Foodborne Diseases and how to choose good animal origin food. This activity was attended by 242 grade 11 students.
It is very important for students to know how to choose good food from animal sources and the dangers associated with it foodborne diseases. Apart from that, students also learn about FKH UB, the veterinary profession, and the animal world.
Through the KKN program roadshow Students are expected to gain material and knowledge from the education or socialization that has been carried out. The implementation of this activity was designed together with the supervisor Drh. Mira Fatmawati. KH Yes we are.
