Malang – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) Universitas Brawijaya once again demonstrated its commitment to developing the quality of education through international collaboration by successfully organizing an academic program titled 3 in 1 Program. This program presents Prof. Robert John Van Saun, DVM, MS, PhD, a leading expert from The Pennsylvania State University, United States, as the main speaker.

Kegiatan ini digelar secara daring melalui platform Zoom pada 21 dan 23 April 2025, serta diikuti oleh mahasiswa, dosen, dan jajaran pimpinan fakultas, termasuk Dekan FKH UB, Dr. Dyah Ayu Oktavianie, DVM, M.Biotech. Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Prof. Van Saun membawakan dua kuliah tamu yang membahas isu penting dalam dunia peternakan, yakni The Metabolic Disorder in Transition Cows dan Nutritional Management for Transition Cows

The transition period in dairy cattle is known to be a very crucial period and determines the success of milk production and herd health. Through this lecture, participants gain in-depth insight into metabolic disorders and effective nutritional management strategies based on the latest international research and practices.
Each session was opened with a warm welcome from the faculty, followed by a comprehensive presentation of the material by Prof. Van Saun. The interactive discussion session provided a space for dialogue between participants and speakers, which added practical and academic value to the activity. The event was then closed with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Van Saun as a form of appreciation for his contribution in improving the quality of learning at FKH UB.
Through this program, FKH Universitas Brawijaya affirms its active role in bridging the exchange of knowledge across countries and enriching the global insight of students in the field of veterinary medicine.
