VETERINARY PARASITOLOGY LABORATORY

The Veterinary Parasitology Laboratory is one of the laboratories at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Brawijaya University (FKH UB) which provides educational, research and testing services in the field of Veterinary Parasitology. The Veterinary Parasitology Laboratory continues to develop itself with existing facilities, infrastructure and human resources as an effort to handle and prevent parasitic diseases in animals (livestock, pet animals, wild animals, aquatic animals and zoonotic parasites). The laboratory participates in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (education, research, community service) as well as the vision and mission of Brawijaya University to become a World Class University.

To become a superior laboratory as a means of education, research, innovation and community service to produce veterinary graduates and veterinarians with comprehensive mastery of veterinary parasitology laboratory diagnostics and having a national and international reputation

Mission of the Vetrine Parasitology Laboratory

1. Organizing education, research, innovation and community service activities in the field of parasitology in animals, livestock, wild animals, fish and zoonotic parasites
2. Organizing practicum and co-assistance learning activities in accordance with national and international curriculum competencies
3. Providing complete laboratory equipment and parasitological diagnostic tests to become an educational and reference laboratory
4. Have human resources who are skilled, fast, thorough and friendly and able to keep up with developments in knowledge and technology
5. Apply effective and efficient work principles
